Needless to say, the design of the rear-facing Companion Infant Seat is pretty flawless.
Peg Perego Pliko P3 Classico Stroller
You may be asking yourself why this stroller is found on EliteCarSeats.com. The Pliko P3 and the Primo Viaggio car seat are the two components that form our first complete travel system offering.
Alone, the P3 is fully loaded. Brakes, four wheel suspension, and swiveling wheels create a smooth ride. The five point harness supports and restrains your child and the front bar doubles as a tray for toys or snacks.
There are a few notable features in addition to all of the standard ones. First of all, the Pliko is designed for really easy transportation. A central handle makes it easy to collapse and carry. Plus it's free standing when collapsed, which is nice. The backrest reclines completely and the footrest adjusts to three different angles. With your comfort in mind, there's a cup holder and height adjustable handles. There's a storage basket underneath the seat - although we've heard complaints that its too small to fit the standard diaper bag.

After searching high and low to find the highest quality, ""pure"" infant seat that was both really safe and convenient for the two-car family, we decided on the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio.

Zooper Swing
The Swing is Zooper's high-end travel system stroller, and it's packed with conveniences. Recaro is considered ""Top of the Line"" in every seat they do, from Porsche Super Cup racing car seats to First Class airline seats on private and commercial jets around the world. Their new Start child seat is no exception. These German engineers didn't cut a single corner while designing the Start, a seat that custom fits a child and allows for multiple adjustments and impeccable safety. This is the only aluminum framed car seat for kids on the market, but my guess is that other companies will soon follow suit. The side impact protection from this seat is both impressive and superior. There is also a tether, which in my experience, is essential to keeping a booster seat upright and in place.

As society editor for Alabama's oldest daily newspaper, Susie Spear Cloos grew up sewing and crocheting in North Carolina on the porches of her grandmothers and great-aunt. She spent 15 years as an investigative journalist and health writer before developing a line of baby millinery.
